I’ve spoken evil of the Lord and attributed evil to him because I believed in false traditions and did not know his ways or understand what he was doing. I am a man of unclean lips because I have spoken things that are evil and attributed them to Him. I thought I would be vindicated for speaking of God what others of high standing also attributed to Him. I accepted what others said of the Lord as truth and repeated them. But they were not true. They were lies. I spoke them. I repeated them confidently. Therefore am I unworthy before the Lord because of my unclean lips.
